What do you think about a father’s claims that his son cut off his own penis while high on cannabis?

Whilst there is no way to explicitly say that smoking cannabis was the cause of this incident, several studies have linked marijuana use to increased risk for psychiatric disorders, including psychosis (schizophrenia), depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders, but whether and to what extent it actually causes these conditions is not always easy to determine.

Regardless of what caused this terrible incident to occur, it goes without saying: more studies need to be conducted about the effects (both good and bad) of marijuana and how the ongoing cannabis reform taking place around the world will impact society as a whole.
